An Event Two Years in the Making

She came home after kindergarten one day and told me about a classmate who had donated her hair to Locks of Love. "Mom, that's what I want to do!" Ten inches and two years later, her hair is currently in the mail. She's so cool.

Tell Mila that I think she is sooo awesome for doing that. Someone will be so happy to get her hair! Oh, and her new haircut is super cute.

Way to go Mila!
Gabe has donated her hair to locks of love 3 times I think since we've been married. She just keeps growing it out and chopping it off. She figures that losing your hair is traumatic enough, but even more so if you're a redhead. (She also donated to the BYU theater dept once. I think she was offended when Catherine insinuated that it either would be or already had been used in the making of a monkey mask...)

Right on Mila! My mom is finishing up Chemo treatments for breast cancer, and loosing her hair was super tough on her. Way to go Mila for donating those beautiful locks. I'm sure it will help someone tremendously.

That is cool. Angelina Jolie would never to that, and she calls herself a humanitarian.
