Going Under Cover (Like Jack and Tony)

My title reminds me that it is a really good time for TV right now. The BIG 4 are all on the air, all highly anticipated and all sure to be better than ever. But Hailey, what are the BIG 4, you might be asking? Well, I was just getting to that, even though this is not the true intent of my post. (But important, nonetheless.)

1) 24: Ben and I bailed halfway through the last season, whenever it was on last, like four years ago. As soon as we saw James Cromwell, we knew he was bad (LA Confidential, hello?) and so we decided we could now write the 24 scripts and we were out. But right now, it's going well, my Tony is back, and Ben likes the new redhead. So everyone's happy.

2) Lost: Oh wow, did you watch the season premiere? Anyone who complains about how nothing ever happens on Lost was surely eating those words on Thursday morning because wow. I love that show and its characters and its mysteries, and Lisa and I drank Bellagio sipping chocolate and we were in Lost heaven.

3) Battlestar Galactica: It's the final season of the sci-fi show and I'm DYING to have everything revealed. I am a huge geek of the week, and I seriously DO NOT CARE. And Ben loves it too, so there.

4) Friday Night Lights: You think I put this as a joke, but you are wrong. This is one of the best dramas to ever hit the small screen. The characters and relationships are so true to life it's frightening some times. Like, did they have a camera in my house? Since I refuse to watch real live football, this is a place in the middle where my husband and I can meet.

And now I've almost forgotten what I was really going to write about. Oh yes, I am making my blog private. People blog for all sorts of reasons: to be famous (or because they already are), to make a million friends, for therapy, for family members and/or for posterity. Since I blog for mainly the latter reasons, I figure it's a no-brainer. If I already have your e-mail address, you will be invited to be a reader. If I don't have it, please leave your e-mail in a comment, or you can send it to me via Facebook. If neither of those options work, I'm sure we will find a way!

And don't forget to set those Tivos.

How can one leave an email address in a comment on a private blog one cannot access?

You leave it on this post. I won't be making it private for a week or so.

Hmm... maybe I should give Lost another chance. I have never been able to get into it.
I've been thinking about making my blog private too. Too many weirdos out there!

I have been regretting not keeping up on FNL and I loved the old Battlestar Galactica but alas, no sci-fi channel. Send me an invite! I go back and forth over going back to a private blog.

Private, huh? Does that mean that I will never know when you write a new write-up? I will just have to check it all the time...

Strange, I never get any weirdo's.

Hailey, I wouldn't miss a minute of your blog! Sign me up! P.S., my mom NEVER checks my blog unless I call her and insist on her checking it that very moment and giving me compliments.

All I have to say is: Sawyer is hot stuff. I truly appreciate how they grease him up before every episode . . .

I haven't gotten any weirdos, really. Well, weirdos that I don't know anyway (wink) I just figure that there might be someone out there who thinks "Hey, she has twins, surely she won't miss one of them!" Just kidding, sort of.

Hey, I'm a stranger, but I'd love to watch your twins grow up -- my email is handsfullmom at gmail dot com.

Well, that last post by my husband (bionictrout) was actually me. But I also wanted to add:

Mindy, you can watch Lost with Lisa and I ANY time!

Undercover huh? You're too funny. I was so uninterested with the last 24 and I still don't really feel it this season. I think they peaked at season 4 and now are just plain desperate.

I would love that. I swear I've never missed an episode. The person that invented Tivo is going to Heaven, no question.

Hailey I would love and invite to your blog. I cant believe how grown up your kids are. It has been a long time. I usually get to your blog from Annette's. Hope your family is doing well and we really should do a Sharon 5th ward get together if Annette comes out this summer.

Hailey, I watched FNL illegally online while it was airing on DirectTV for the last few months. I couldn't wait for it to be on normal TV! And I am here to assure you that this season is a good one. I love those writers. And those actors. WHAT a good show! I will be heartbroken if it is cancelled.

Keep me on the blog list please: la.voyageuse@gmail.com

We watch all the same shows--except Friday night Lights. Need to get into that one. However, 24 is pretty bad ass (and im so happy tony is back!) LOST is always surprising me and Battlestar is amazing. TV right now is so fun to watch :)
